Megan Jonas - Founder & Lead Developer
Megan Jonas is currently working as a freelance front-end web developer and digital marketing strategist in Fort Collins, CO. Her areas of expertise include WordPress, Social Media strategy and implementation, content strategy and creation, and email marketing.
She was previously a web producer at C-SPAN in Washington, D.C. She received her master’s degree from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University, focusing in Interactive Publishing. Prior to the big Chicago move, she worked for four years, also at C-SPAN, three of which were spent producing the three networks’ White House coverage. Megan holds a bachelors degree in television, radio and film from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and another bachelors in political science from Syracuse’s Maxwell School of Public Policy. She has had internships with Colorado Production Group(now Citizens Pictures), CBS4 Denver, and NBC Olympics.
In her free time, Megan enjoys reading, hiking, whitewater rafting, and rock climbing. She moved to Asheville with an eye towards doing more of these things. The verdict is still out on whether or not she has accomplished this goal.
Megan decided to spend the summer of 2017 working as an adventure guide in Alaska before moving with her boyfriend and adorable kitten to Fort Collins, CO.
